Is there a software license? E-mail

The software used by the ONS Managed Server is covered by a number different "Open Source" licenses. The software used in the Managed Server covered by one or more of the licenses listed here.

Apache Software License  Artistic license  BSD license  Common Public License GNU General Public License (GPL)  GNU Library or "Lesser" General Public License (LGPL) Intel Open Source License MIT license PHP License Python license Sleepycat License

To our knowledge, there is no software provided by us for your use that requires any payment to any third party for its distribution or use.  There are no "CALs" (Client Access Licenses) that are required of you and there are no software license charges incurred by you to ONS for adding workstations.  There are no license-related limitations or restrictions on how many sessions, logins, accounts,  etc. you can have.

Since you are not modifying or distributing the server's software, there are no responsibilities placed upon you with regard to software licenses.  You are simply using the services that the licensed software provides in order to store, process, and transfer information.  ONS is responsible for compliance with the software license terms and conditions.
