What does the Service Agreement cover? E-mail

A written Service Agreement between you and ONS governs the exact terms and conditions and supersedes this web page and any other communications or understandings. That being said, the main points contained in the Service Agreement are:

  • Your authorization to install our equipment at your premises and to configure your computers to use it.
  • You agree that you are responsible for making backups of all your data before we begin the installation procedure.
  • Explaining that we are not taking the place of your Internet or telephone service providers and that you will need to retain their services and pay their charges.
  • The term of the Agreement, which is normally 12 months. (Shorter terms are also available, but at a higher monthly rate and other fees may apply.)
  • The rights of both you and ONS to terminate the Agreement with and without cause during term of Agreement.
  • The payment terms and your authorization for ONS to charge your credit card for services rendered and other charges incurred.
  • You agree to maintain valid credit card information on file with us.
  • The procedure for handling of delinquent accounts.
  • Customers may not relocate the server. In order to protect both your data and our equipment, all moves must be done by ONS personnel.
  • Certain restrictions on usage of the server such as sub-lease, rent, or to violate the law.
  • The equipment remains the property of ONS.
  • Statements of limited services warranty, limited liability, and damages exclusion.
  • Governing law is Georgia; dispute resolution; statement that there are no other agreements between you and ONS.

Finally, there is a description of what equipment and services are being provided and what the charges will be.
